Tyrrell 019
Much was expected of Jean Alesi in 1990 and it looked like he could deliver when he too his 019 to second place at Monaco. Things got worse after that and the French-Sicilian hothead failed to finish on five occasions usually as result of a spin. Team-mate Nakajima was less exciting to watch than Jean, and rarely did more than struggle to get to grips with the car.
