Shadow Ford DN9B (Belgium 1979)

The Shadow DN9B an update on 1978's DN9A featured sliding skirts to enhance ground effect and two new drivers Jan Lammers and Elio De Angelis. Unfortunately they received limited Good Year tyre support and rarely obtained special qualifying tyres. As a result the striking looking car never gained its full potential with a best result of 4th.
