Jordan 191

The first Grand Prix car to bear the Jordan name, the 191 was originally designated 911 until Porsche pointed out that they held the trademark on that number. Eddie Jordan agreed to change it and received a 911 in return for his compliance.

Jordan 193

The switch to the Hart engine failed to deliver the improvements Eddie Jordan hoped for, although the car did get to the grid a little more often. The best results for the team came at the end of the season when Barrichello and Irvine finished fifth and sixth a Suzuka.

Jordan 197

With its distinctive yellow colourings and snake-head paint job the 197 certainly cut a dash in the 1997 paddock line-up. In the hands of young guns Ralf Schumacher and Giancarlo Fisichella the car threatened a number of times but in the end failed to deliver the much spoken Jordan promise of this year being 'the year'.

Jordan 195

Following a good 1994 season gaining 28 points and a switch from Hart to the factory Peugeot engine, hopes were high for 1995. The car was again designed by the highly rated Gary anderson and the team retained Barrichello and Irvine for their 2nd season together. However, as is often the case when switching to a new engine, the season was spoilt by numerous retirements. The best race was Canada with a 2nd and 3rd position, but with so many retirements and a total points of 21, the season overall was a disappointment.
