Dallara BMS - 189
A refined derivative of the 188, the BMS-189 took the team to eighth in the Constructors' Cup. Best result came in Montreal when de Cesaris finished third. Between them the driver pairing of de Cesaris and Alex Caffi, retained from the previous season, failed to qualify just 3 times in 32 outings and were classified 16 times.
